Since 2001, UMW has been an Accredited Training Provider (ATP) authorized by the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore for conducting Forklift Drivers Training Course.
Now, our courses on forklift driver training are approved by Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) under WSQ frame work. Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to participants who successfully completed the course and passed the competency assessment. Our courses are eligible for SDF Subsidy and Absentee Payroll Subsidy.
Course Objective
Trainees will be trained on the functional features and the capability of a forklift truck. Our course will enable trainees to acquire all the necessary skills in operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Upon successful completion of the course and passing competency assessment, trainee will be awarded with Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) under WSQ frame work.
For Whom
Logistics and warehouse personnel who need to operate a forklift in the course of their work.
Reasons for Attending
1. It is mandatory requirement form the Ministry of Manpower that anyone operating a forklift needs to go through and pass a Forklift Driver Training Course Certification.
2. Forklift Operator will be equipped with all the necessary skills to operate a forklift truck safely and productively.
Program Plan
Skills Development Fund (SDF) & Absentee Payroll Funding (SRP)
Our courses are SDF and SRP pre-approved. Company sponsored participants (Singaporean or permanent resident) may apply directly to at www.skillsConnect.gov.sg for training grants and absentee payroll funding. The application will be subjected to the SDF and SRP ‘s criteria and consideration, on a case-by-case basis.
Other Training Programs
At customers’ request, we also conduct Forklift Drivers Training Course at their site, and training programs on handling of other Material Handling Equipments at our In-Door Training Circuit.
